PARIS

Eiffel Towe

 The Eiffel Tower is one of the most iconic landmarks in the world, located in the heart of Paris, France. Here's everything you need to know about visiting this famous monument:

  • Built: 1887-1889 by engineer Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Exposition Universelle (World's Fair) to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution.
  • Height: Originally 300 meters (984 feet), it now stands at 330 meters (1,083 feet) due to the addition of antennas.
  • Location: Situated on the Champ de Mars near the Seine River in Paris's 7th arrondissement.

Climate

Spring is mild, with temperatures ranging from 8°C to 17°C (46°F to 63°F). March can still be chilly, but by May, the days warm up pleasantly. 


 Summers are warm, with temperatures typically between 15°C and 25°C (59°F to 77°F). On occasion, heatwaves can push temperatures above 30°C (86°F)


Fall starts off mild with temperatures ranging from 12°C to 20°C (54°F to 68°F) in September, but by November, it can drop to 5°C to 10°C (41°F to 50°F).
